I attended a workshop on 3D audio research at the Tokyo University of Arts (GEIDAI) on 7-8 March 2023. JSPS postdoc scholar Will Howie organized the workshop, and we experimented on side surround loudspeaker reproduction in ITU 4+7+0 (Dolby Atmos) for solo piano in classical music productions. The studio time with Will, Julius Johansson, Toru Kamekawa-sensei, and Atsushi Marui-sensei was a gem for me.
