Emre Ekici is a music producer, recording engineer, and post-production audio engineer. He currently works as a live music producer at RNZ Concert.

He is a PhD candidate in music at the University of Otago, where his research explores the democratisation of classical music production. He received his master’s in music at Istanbul Technical University.

His recent credits include Angèle Dubeau, Arabella Steinbacher, Benjamin Grosvenor, Chloe Chua, Takács Quartet and the Auckland Philharmonia.

He has also worked extensively in Japan, recording internationally acclaimed artists at the Inryoji Temple such as Eiko Ishibashi, Ichiko Aoba, Jim O’Rourke and Yahiro Tomohiro.
